Meet Sarah Herbosheimer
I’m Sarah Herbolsheimer, I am a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) in the state of Nebraska and a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Iowa. I provide psychotherapy to individuals located in Nebraska and Iowa.ith state licensure regulations.
My clinical approach is rooted in Object Relations theory and psychoanalytic psychotherapy, offering a space for thoughtful exploration of emotional life, relational patterns, and individual experience.
Why Psychotherapy?
Psychodynamic Psychotherapy is a reflective, relational approach that emphasizes understanding internal experience over time.

Self-Exploration
Psychoanalytic psychotherapy emphasizes reflection and self-exploration, supporting greater awareness of thoughts, emotions, and relational patterns.
Emotional Exploration
Through the therapeutic process, individuals may explore past experiences and unresolved emotional material in a way that can support emotional understanding and personal growth.
Relationship Dynamics
Attention to relational patterns can deepen insight into how you relate to yourself and others, both historically and in the present.

Unconscious Material
This approach may involve exploring unconscious processes through methods such as dream exploration, free association, and attention to symbolic or creative expression.
Authenticity
Therapy can support increased awareness of habitual ways of relating or living that may feel misaligned, allowing space to explore more authentic ways of being.
Individualized Care
Psychoanalytic psychotherapy is highly individualized. Treatment is collaborative and responsive to your unique needs, goals, and stage of development.
